The license
StillCooking_Tools is released under the MIT License. The full text is in LICENSE in the plugin root, and it — not this page — is the binding document.
This page is a plain-language summary.
Copyright © 2026 StillCooking.dev.
In plain terms
MIT lets you use the plugin, copy it, modify it, merge it into your own code, publish it,
distribute it, sublicense it, and sell it or software containing it — free project or commercial,
source or compiled, unchanged or changed beyond recognition, with no notification and no fee. The
one condition is that the copyright notice and the license text travel with the code, “in all
copies or substantial portions of the Software”: when you redistribute the plugin’s source, the
LICENSE file, or its text, goes with it. And the plugin is provided “as is”, without warranty
of any kind — if it breaks your build, your save games or your release, the license places the
risk with you, and it caps the author’s liability as well.
The terms that bind, in full.
There is no support obligation attached to the license — see how reports are handled in practice.
Third-party code
None. The plugin links engine modules only, and enables no other plugin. The engine modules each of the two modules links, per module. Use of Unreal Engine itself is governed by the Unreal Engine EULA, which is unaffected by this license.
